We heard that there was a threat of thunderstorms across the Minnesota area that we were going to be travelling so we got off to an early start. We left Eau Claire travelling on interstate 94 toward Fargo North Dakota. We left Wisconsin and entered Minnesota. We went around the Minneapolis-St. Paul area but did not stop because of the threat of rain. We rode without stopping until we needed gas and lunch. After lunch we rode until the skies started looking ominous and we were getting splattered with rain. So we pulled over and put on our gear. We got back on the road and fortunately dodged the storms that were all around us. We crossed into North Dakota and arrived in Fargo without any serious rain today! Miles today 344, total for the trip 4627.
